Well, planning a proposal is hard as it is, but planning a proposal when your fiancé figures out everything is even harder! It took a few months of planning and figuring everything out. Then we decided to take a family vacation to San Antonio, TX. I was so excited to now have a place, sort of figured out. At first, my plan was to propose at the beach. Then I thought about how hard it would be to either keep the ring from being lost, covered in sand, or found by my fiancé. So I decided not to propose at the beach! So I came up with a plan B, we were gonna visit the River Walk in San Antonio. We planned to be there most of the day. At the start of the day, I got ready, put the ring in my pocket, and headed out the door, ready and nervous for what lay ahead! So there we are walking around downtown San Antonio, it's getting a little later. We stopped for dinner at a really yummy burger place, then went to the River Walk. We walked around the river for about 30 minutes. The whole time, I was feeling knots in my stomach and trying to find the perfect spot. Then the kids were getting tired, and I needed to find a spot soon. I had finally found one when I told everyone I wanted to take a family picture down by the river. So we went down the stairs to stand by the river, we posed for a picture as I grabbed Bre by the hands and expressed how she has made me a better man, how she has made me the happiest I have ever been, how she is the only one I want to spend the rest of my life with. Then, as I'm on one knee, I ask her to be my wife, and she says YES!
